Indulge on these healthy sugar free chocolate date energy bites packed with super foods. It can be enjoyed as a quick breakfast or a snack anytime, anywhere.

Ingredients
1 lb Safawi dates pitted
1 1/2 cups Oats (old fashioned)
1/3 Cocoa unsweetened
1/4 tsp Salt
¼ cup coconut oil (unrefined) melted
¾ cup Almond slices
¼ Coconut unsweetened shredded
Instructions
Add almonds to food processor and process until finely chopped.
Add cocoa, salt, coconut and oats. Process for 30 seconds or until blended.
Add dates and coconut oil. Process for another 2-3 minutes. Open and stir every minute to ensure everything gets blended equally.
If mixture is not firm and smooth enough to form balls add additional coconut oil.
Form into 1 inch balls or square bars. Store in airtight container and place in fridge. Enjoy as a quick snack anytime, anywhere. It makes for a great healthy snack for kids also.
